Bachelor of Science in Court Reporting (BSCR)
This program is designed to emphasize the importance of communication skills, management and professional skills along with technical knowledge and expertise required to qualify for positions of responsibility in the day-to-day workings of the legal system. Amongst the career-relevant skills taught in the program are how to prepare accurate transcripts for a variety of court proceedings that includes multiple speakers, witnesses and technical material utilizing a CAT system.
To be accepted for enrollment, students must be currently certified as Registered Professional Reporters (RPR) by the National Court Reporters Association.
You can earn one CTU Academic Certificate as you work toward the completion of your Bachelor of Science in Court Reporting degree.
**The 2+2 program assumes that all associate-level requirements have been met through an Associate's degree or the equivalent.
